Hi
I know that the headphone jack on the back of my Rumble Head cuts the speakers but does it cut the DI output too? I can think of at least 2 scenarios where I would like to have phones but still feed out to a desk.
I was going to try it at practice on Thursday but have been hit by a wave of impatience and desperately need to know now!
Many thanks
Jon

It shouldn't, since it's never done that to my Fender Rumble 350 combo amp, which I've used to record in the same fashion as you described, and it works.

Awesome! Many thanks for letting me know - practice was cancelled last Thursday so I still wasn't sure.

That neatly leads on to my next question. I was hoping to have this as an option at those gigs where I can't hear myself properly. My rumble head and 410 cab obviously have more than enough punch to act as a monitor but I like to hide behind our line of backing vocalists and they need to hear themselves too. I can't justify the expense of in-ear monitoring or anything like that so was wondering if the right headphones would let enough of the band through while ensuring that I could hear as much of myself as I liked?

Please feel free to poke giant holes in this idea and if there are better solutions I'd love to hear them. Also, if the above was feasible, could I just take the head to gigs or would it object to being run without the cab?

As you can tell, I know next to nothing about gear and any help is much appreciated.
