I'm keen to buy a replacement speaker for my Fender Bassman 250 bass amp cabinet. I'm just not 100% sure which speaker to buy based on wattage. One of them has cone damage (it is falling apart around the outside) and buzzes constantly.

Here are the details, keen for your advice:
Amp/head - 250w
Speaker size - 10"
Impedence - 8 ohms

It is a twin cab (plus a horn). They are eminence speakers. What I can't figure out is the wattage of each individual speaker to decide which replacement to buy. The two woofers are set up in parallel.

The manual just says:
2 Eminence® 8Ω 10" woofers (068843)

The speaker itself just has these 3 lines on it:
068843 < - this means made by fender
101351 < - this is the actual speaker detail: 10 for inches, the rest I don't know...
67-0605D 1241 <- this just means made by eminence with a date

Thanks again for your advice.

250 watts head , two speaker in parallel .
Each speaker must hold half of the power, it is a minimum ; 125 watts

More power is better to have best tone ( no speaker distortion ) and for speaker safety
I'll go for 200 - 250 watts each and more at 8 ohms each.

I don't know where you can fine woofer

Your best bet is to go ahead and replace both woofers at the same time. You can always call Eminence for their recommendation.
Here's a link to their current 10s suitable for bass guitar.
