At one time, when I bought the Bronco 40 Bass Amp, the software worked. I logged the same issue, is not recognized by Mac, nearly 2 years ago, and the Tech I talked to said that Fender would no longer be supporting Mac. This was on Mavericks, I see they have the same version up for downloading, and invoke Sierra (what a laugh) while they know it hasn't worked, and won't work in the future. Grow a pair Fender, stop wasting good ppls time who buy your products and keep you employed. The Bronco is a damn good amp, but I'm 53 years old, can't see a black panel in the daylight let alone in the available light in practice room or stage. It it virtually impossible to tweak these amps without software, I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. They could have paid a consultant for 3 months wages to fix it but they'd rather just act like it doesn't exist and lie to consumers. I was going to buy the Champ x2 because it's also a fantastic product, but like the Bronco, it has a beautiful GUI but IT DOES NOT WORK ON A MAC ! ...and date your software updates please. Fender could go from a 3 star to a 5 star again, but they'd rather be a bunch of nickel nursing greedy cheapskates. Fender lives off a reputation they earned in the 60's...they are a 3rd world product made for suckers who don't do their homework. The installer doesn't even work on Sierra, and I don't mean the "owner not certified", you can install as Admin...Fender has convinced themselves that ppl are just idiots that don't know gear...that attitude has put them where they are, targets for righteous skepticism and deserved complaints. If I buy an amp with a 5 year warranty, everything that worked on "day one" should work on "day 5 years later". And these amps are useless to record with, they sound great as standalone, they are unbearable as direct recording devices.

When a product doesn't work as advertised you take it back to the store for a refund and choose something else.

When you buy on the used market, the term caveat emptor is of paramount importance.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
