Yeah, but which one is usually the least expensive to fix, though? I guess they don't even bother fixing the solid state ones anymore, do they? They just give you a new one if you're under warranty, from what I understand.

That can be a toss up at times for which one can be the most costly.

I'm not sure how much the Class D stuff is to fix, although it seems like those are the ones that have been disposable, or they just give you a new one. Who knows what they do with the broken ones?

There are companies that strip electronic boards for recycling.

I think they do that a lot in countries like India and Nigeria, from what I understand.

It may get shipped there, and there are a few places here that do that too.

At least they are recycling that stuff instead of burying it in some landfill, or dumping it in some ocean.

Very True. A fair amount of that stuff isn't too biologically friendly either.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if we didn't have three-eyed fish swimming in the ocean. :P

That reminds me, how's the Gulf Of Mexico doing these days? I know that oil spill disaster really screwed up everything down there a few years back. I remember when I was a kid, St. Pete Beach, Madeira Beach, and Clearwater Beach used to be pretty nice, but I've heard they in pretty rough shape these days.

I haven't heard much, but I assume the Gulf side is doing ok. The tropical storms, and Hurricanes, are natures way of stirring up the waters, and moving things around. They also help to move some of the colder waters up to the surface to cool down the surface waters.

That's the thing, the oceans are constantly moving and nothing really stays put for too long.
