Speaking of the Who, this is a pretty cool site: http://www.thewho.net/whotabs/gear/ I think I might have posted something about it here a long time ago.

I'm one more Fender Bassman amp user. There must be a few more around. There's me, and,……… Come on now, raise your hands, don't be shy. "Hello, Hello, Hello, is there anybody in there?"

I've been using my Rumble 350 combo again, so I suppose that counts.

But, I'm using a Schecter Jazz Bass, so I'll probably get points deducted. :P

It's a Fender, and it's a crusher. Super Bassman / Bassman 410 Neo.

Love my Bassman 135 and 2 X 15" cab. Unfortunately, I no longer have the strength to carry it down the two very steep and narrow flights of stairs from the condo to the garage. I still use it for jamming at home but have to use much lighter gear when I play out. If I had the strength though, I'd still be using the Bassman on all blues, Jazz and "folkie" gigs.

Why not buy a second cab and store it in the garage?

Thus, you'd only have to lug the amp head around.

Thanks for the idea, but it's an open garage in a condo building. All 31 residents (and we have 6 guest spots) share it along with kids and skateboarders who run in as the gate closes. I do have a storage bin, but that's 5' off the ground and made of thin plywood. Even with a lock, those are trivial to break into ... we warn people never to put anything of any value in those bins.

On the bright side, it's forced me to go with more modern solid state amps and Neo type speakers. A case of getting old contributing to my sound getting "new." I'd been hoping to sell the Bassman to someone in the area who has a studio (so it would be put to good us), but no luck so far in 3 years of trying. Then too, I've been exercising more so who knows, maybe someday I'll be able to lift it again. Good can come out of any adversity if looked at the right way :)

Add the Armadillo Teen to the list of not-famous Fender Rumble 150 users...and add me to that list, too, for my rare bass excursions.
