I had a Mesa M6 Carbine head that had a Bass Boost also.
The Strings showed up late today. All I had a chance to do, was to string them onboard. While I had the tuner up, I checked out the intonation with the Nylons on. Right On! Image

Sounds good. 8) I remember you were talking about having a Mesa Boogie at one time. That was probably before I knew you, though. I don't ever recall you having one since I have.

I don't remember exactly when I had the Mesa, but I think it was around 2010, there abouts.

Yeah, that was a couple of years before we started shooting the breeze around here. I did have some minor interaction with this forum with a different account (or two,) but it wasn't until I got the Rumble 350 combo that I became active on here. I guess it was because I didn't have much of anything Fender related gear to discuss about.

The Mesa was an amp setup I should've hung on too. The setup I have now come, to think of it, is almost identical to the Mesa.

I've heard Mesa amps are really good stuff, but I never had any chance to play through any. At least you have something just as comparable running now.

That's it as a comparable, very similar, and the cost is less than the Mesa. Mesa sells at MSRP. No sales or price breaks on their gear. Very similar to Rickenbacker as well in their company pricing strategies. If you want it, you're going to pay for it.

I never understood the whole MSRP thing, anyway. I guess they do that so you'll think you're getting some sort of deal.

For some companies, their MSRP can be can be cost close to their profit margin. U.S. companies do usually cost more in labor to manufacture the product.

That's true, we do. That's probably why amps used to be a lot more expensive back in the day, and they certainly were.

SS over tube, and over seas production does cut down pricing.

In away we somewhat dictate what we like. Low costs.

That's true, because we are cheap bastards. :P Actually, probably because money doesn't grow on trees, unfortunately.

I can't blame the American worker for making a living at their job. If I can't afford an American product anymore, oh well. It's a shame though that more amps for example, aren't MIA.
