I didn't have any issues with it, but the support isn't there if something comes up. They really have a lousy support network in the US. A Fender can be worked on in a lot of places. And I do like having a headphones jack onboard. Sometimes it's a pain not having a headphones jack.
The Eminence speakers do sound better than the new style pretend B&C speakers. The B&C speakers that were original equipment in the Italian Markbasses's were really a lot better than what ever these look a like ones do now. Rumbles are wood cabs, and don't have the carpet. In the future, I may add a Rumble 112 cab to sit under the 500 C.

I can your point with that totally. Yeah, a headphone jack can be quite handy, especially if you want to do something in the wee hours of the night. That was one of the negatives of my Orange, it doesn't have a headphone jack. There are certain situations where that would have been handy with recording and muting the cabs would have been necessary for me, but I did get an MXR Preamp/DI pedal that took care of that.

I think that 12" would sound pretty good with that rig.

Agreed on the 12 sounding pretty good with the 2X10's. Not to mention, the 500C would then be 500 watts, @ 4 ohms with the 112 cab. Even if I kept the 500C just as a Combo, it 350 watts.

How loud is that amp by itself? You crank it up yet?

It's pretty damn loud, at about half way up.

I know my older version can hold it's own, and that is 350 watts, or 402 watts, according to the schematics, and I've never had to dime it. I imagine that one can do more, especially since you can add an additional cab. Having good speakers definitely will help with that.

I'm getting to appreciate this Rumble. Yours, and mine are at 350 watts. I may not do the 112 cab, and maybe do a Standard Jazz, Arctic White, Maple. I have to admit, the v3 500C at 350 watts has a lot of power to it. How should I say, I have a new respect for this Rumble.

I thought they discontinued the Standard series? You have one in mind that's available, or you actually thinking about spending the extra on the new series?

They discontinued the Am. Std. Series. I'm talking about the Standard Series. (MIM). I like the Arctic White, Maple in a Jazz.

You saw/played one you liked, or you just want to order one and see how it goes?

Probably will come down to just want to order one and see how it goes. I could order one from Sweetwater and choose the one I like from their Guitar Gallery.

They didn't have any locally? You know, come to think of it, I don't really remember seeing too many if any basses in a local shop (here or in Florida,) other than maybe my Fender 50's P-Bass reissue I had. I'd see that finish more so with guitars, but then again, you'll typically have more guitars than basses in a shop to begin with.

The Arctic White / Maple Jazz may rarely be at a store, but not as a regular stock, that I know of anyway.

A Standard Jazz, should be delivered Thursday at SA. It just worked out better to order it through SA, instead of through Sweetwater.
