You know, I've never had the pork lo mein from the Chinese restaurant we go to. I've had it in the house special lo mein, which is chicken, pork, and shrimp, but not on it's own. Usually, I get the beef, sometimes the chicken.

I'm pretty hooked on the pork. Since I order it when ever we do the take out.

The local place we go to is great. The Won Ton soup is top shelf too. Who else but this bunch would be talking about Chinese food in a bass amp section!

Of course, because we can get totally random. I can imagine some new person coming here and reading this and going, "what the hell are they talking about?!?" :P It's not like this forum gets a lot of activity, anyway. Most of the people that use to post in this section are MIA these days.

I had a spinach pie and pizza strip for breakfast from this Italian bakery. It was pretty good stuff. My girlfriend is Italian, so if anyone knows about Italian food, it's me. :P I've been to many a Christmas gathering with Italians.

Given that there are so few true "American Foods" due to the nation's diverse demographics, most ethnic foods have now become de facto American cuisine. As an example, we began the week with "German" (Sunday), then "Italian" (Monday), "Mexican" (Tuesday), "Chinese" (Thursday), "Irish" (Friday), and finally "Thai" (this evening). Wednesday was grilled ham-and-cheese subs with baked barbecue beans and coleslaw -- the only meal that I'd consider to be a USA concoction.

Viva la difference......urp!

Not so fast, Mistah Bond.

The "traditional" turkey dinner was likely brought here by the pilgrims.

And where pray-tell did they come from......?

Oh yeah, I had almost forgotten about that. It's been a long time since I've been through Connecticut. :P

I back to using a Fender amp again. A Rumble 500 Combo. I like the support if needed for a Fender amp. A Markbass amp sounds good, but if there's an issue with it, the support isn't there. And I do like having a headphone jack onboard. Image
