I was flashing back to the 60's seeing the Kustoms on that site. Cool find Paul.

There use to be another site about them, but it's long gone now. I think it was put together by a music store that's no longer around.

Too bad the original Kustom is gone. Along with Acoustic, and Sunn.

Yeah, there's just the name of those on another products. I've heard Kustom makes the Acoustic amps, but who knows? I've heard they were pretty good amps, even though they're not like the originals.

A safe bet is, they're both built in the same PLA-owned plant in China. Some Marshalls and Ampegs are built offshore as well. All of them pale imitations of what were once legendary brands.

:(

I'm not sure about all of the Marshalls made in other lands, but I used some Marshall MB series amps that were made in Vietnam. Cheap.

I remember you telling me about those. That's too bad they had issues. Maybe that's why they discontinued them, who knows? My Rumble is made in China and I've had it running for 5 years now with no issues (knock on wood.) I guess it all boils down to good QC before leaving the factory.

I don't have a problem with products made in another country. It's hard to buy almost anything not made somewhere else. No one is forcing me to buy anything I don't want to. My SB is from Mexico, and I think my SVT cab is from China as well. The MB Series was a nightmare to Marshall.

Did they explode in fiery fireballs of molten plastic and MDF? :P That would be kind of cool, actually. Although, maybe not so much for the people who paid for them. :P

More likely as would frozen eggrolls as they hit the scalding oil in a wok.

Chop chop!

Pork, chicken, or shrimp?

You know, I've never had the pork lo mein from the Chinese restaurant we go to. I've had it in the house special lo mein, which is chicken, pork, and shrimp, but not on it's own. Usually, I get the beef, sometimes the chicken.
