Just watching CNN and the Fab Four videos (and music) are getting a digital restoration.

The Beatles 1 will come in a boxed set with videos from TV and other videos. Along with enhancements, damaged material has been repaired along with 23 additional songs. Having seen some of the footage, I have to say it looks and sounds great.

Release is Nov. 7/2015

With 'Spectre' and James Bond having the London debut today and Sam Smith singing "Writing's On The Wall" (for the movie) we may be in for another British Invasion.

Yeah, it does sound interesting. It's hard to believe a lot of that stuff is over 50 years old.

I don't know ... It just seems that they are at their wits to find different ways to repackage the same thing over and over again ... "the original mono recordings", "new digital remasters", "expanded liner notes", etc. etc. Don't get me wrong, as I am a big as fan any. But nothing they do will likely make Sgt Pepper's sound much greater than it already does. Just one opinion ...
