Your son did a great job. That makes them special and priceless. As for your Hofner, I agree with you. If you change your mind in the future you might consider John Lennon's '65 Rolls Royce Phantom V colour combo.

I saw this car several times when I lived in the town where it resided in a museum, and my wife's girlfriend did a Bridal photo shoot with it. :D

You're right FSB, that does make a special connection between those guitars and my son. Before he got busy with school/work he did some other pickguards for people too. One guy wanted Chewbacca and C3PO on some basses, can't remember what else. Now he hasn't touched his airbrush in probably a year, he graduated tech college and got a real job, moving out this weekend. Maybe someday he'll pick it up again.

That car is a truly wild paint job, cool but, wow!
