Neil's voice was as smooth as ever! He and the band Rocked! They were Jamm'in! Played for three hours.

In addition to his hits, he played some new material. Willie Nelson's son (Lukas Nelon) played lead guitar and piano. His voice is very similar to to his Dad's.

Neil must be really pissed at Monsanto, as at least 3 songs mentioned Monsanto -- and it was probably the most repeated lyric of the show.

If you knew the truth about Monsanto and its insidious affiliation with GMO's you'd be pissed too.

First off, glad you had a great time with Neil Young, MusicLaw. He's not everyone's taste, but he is real and I like him.

Don't get me started on Monsanto. If it wasn't for corporate lawyers more people would reveal chemical mistakes affecting human and animal lives. In 1962 my dog and 2 other dogs plus half a dozen cats succumbed to terrible deaths. Government use of DDT weed spray caused my dog to be tied up, and with a mouth that frothed and eyes rolled back he and the others were shot out of their misery. I was 14 and I can't elaborate other than to tell you investigations pointed to this fact in later years. Others will say chemicals were not used correctly. I say that they were not made correctly.

Why am I telling you this. Because the same story about chemicals being tested and deemed okay by testers is not unlike the scenario pushed for today's chemicals only to be found to have exaggerated claims and promotions that are more dangerous than announced and they are accepted with little care and attention. Better than the alternative is always the argument until one finds out it is not always better than the alternative. By that time it's too late to undo the damage done.

I saw my dog (and families) suffer needlessly and I have been lucky to have government aerial spray me with malathion which for this year has finally been banned for suspicious reasons. Everybody is entitled to their opinion; but, history may not agree. Same old same old. I caution you to not oil the finely tuned machine of greedy and nasty corporations. If you use these questionable chemicals, please keep them out of reach from animals and humans and be cautious of where your pets stray. Don't accept commercialism or the "everybody uses it" argument. Look for alternatives and stay safe.

Strange that multiple cases of dangerous chemicals are promoted or replaced by the same companies over and over, and that governments that are supposed to represent the people continue to buy from these lobbyists. Hmmm. Sometimes they give or get a deal that is a Trojan horse. Fool me once fool me twice . . . Neil has a point. IMHO.
