My friend had a 1956 Thunderbird that was repainted Fiesta Red (original Tbird color). The car was white from the factory. I thought it was a big mistake, it looked like a faded red that was polished out. However, on a Stratocaster it looks fantastic, one of my favorite colors.

Link that leads people OFF the site (despite a way to embed videos here) to an ad-sponsored site.

I get that it's nice to share, and that it may be of interest, but unless people at least take the time to introduce themselves or post anything else, this just comes across as abusing Fender's site to generate traffic and revenue for themselves at Fender's expense.

So what if it's off site? I can open in a new tab and still be on this site. No big deal.

Your post just comes off as persnickety and grouchy.

I saw online how Jeff Carlisi (of 38 Special) was to sell his 1962 Jaguar XKE at auction on March 11th. Haven't heard how much the top bid was.

I use to own a Jaguar XKE (back in 1985). It was a '64 Coup and I thought it was the most beautiful car ever. Although my head touched the ceiling and it was hard to look cool driving while hunched down.

That's the same one my dad had when we grew up, same color even. He got so tired of fixing it that he took it to the dealer and said " give me the ugliest car on the lot because this beauty has been a P.I.A. He bought a new 72 VW van...

I used to cruise with a friend and co-worker that owned a yellow 1960 XKE convertible in the mid 60s. One day he got creamed on the side of his Jag's front fender. There were no fenders to be found at the time, and it took many months to get a replacement from overseas. Needless to say, the culprit with the domestic car was likely back on the road within weeks if not days.

Nice Arjay. Both the car and guitar. I see you brought one of your amps out to play, I'll bet it appreciated the exercise.

Arjay, gonna need to borrow the Blue Strat for a picture session! Might go pretty well with this...

There are some really nice cars here...the Red Jag was outstanding and Arjays Chevelle rides pretty nicely at 100mph!
