I've made a short YouTube video with fifteen different guitars which share the same names as cars.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bEphfmx9jA

One cool example is the Fender Jaguar and Jaguar XKE

First post.
Link that leads people OFF the site (despite a way to embed videos here) to an ad-sponsored site.

I get that it's nice to share, and that it may be of interest, but unless people at least take the time to introduce themselves or post anything else, this just comes across as abusing Fender's site to generate traffic and revenue for themselves at Fender's expense.

My name is Steve and I own a guitar store with a small guitar museum in Arkansas. I have been into taking pictures of vintage guitars for years and have written a few articles and one book about vintage guitars. I wasn't planning to make any profit from my video. I'm not on revenue sharing with YouTube and the guitars in the video are not for sale. I have spent uncountable hours taking the photos used in the video and I just wanted to share them with someone.

As someone who appreciates both guitars and cars, I respect your efforts and enjoyed the video.

OH!!!!
This lousy, stinking Mac of mine!
I didn't get to see all the cool ads on the ad sponsored off-site video.
Stupid thing.
Can't even get advertising right.
Didn't get to see even a single one!!
I'm gonna give this P.O.S. up for good.

Well the post looks better too with "embedding" the video, but I didn't know how to do that because I am something of a computer dummy.

Great job! This video brings my two most favorite things together! I like the cuts to the Corvette Stingray at start up and throughout the video, nice touch!

I have always kept my two hobbies apart, but beginning the think I should one day put all my gear in a pic in front of my Vette. I just got to find a nice Lake Placid Blue Strat to go with it!

Again great post and welcome to the forum.

It's easy.
Once you have copied the URL for your YouTube video you just click the YouTube icon right above the edit box when you are typing your post here on the forum and paste it in.
Click preview just to make sure.
Done.

If I did that, the car wouldn't be visible at all!

Well, I guess I can show this off here. My contribution to the cars and guitars thread.

And, in keeping with the blue car theme, here is my ride as it currently sits in the restoration shop getting it's new blue suit. It's been there six months and I still haven't been able to see it in the sunlight. It's metallic, so it should be considerably lighter in the sun. It's also getting new blue leather.

Drew, that's a couple of cool cars, and the Strat's cool too.

Thanks, the Strat is a CS Clapton, which has since gone to a new home. Clapton and Ferrari seems to go together. Luckily I still have the Ferrari, 28 years and counting. I was shocked when I did research and found that a previous owner had changed the interior from blue to tan. So it's getting put back to the way it left the factory.

Well I certainly notice that when I have typed Fender Mustang into a search engine, I get as many results for Mustang fenders as for Fender Mustang (I own Fender Mustang)

I'll have to see about fender jaguar and Jaguar fenders.
