Bass players and drummers I implore you to unite against this pedal. Drummers - buy the pedals, tape them to the top of your snare head, and beat them up! Bassists - throw them to the floor and step on them! :x
Heh heh ! Just yanking your chain, Mike. Okay, protestors stand down.
Looks like a fun pedal and a great deal, I wish you lots of good times with it.

I'd wish they'd make one of those with a guitar or keyboard accompaniment with the drums, so you'd have something to jam with if you play bass. I suppose you could still do that and just play higher up the neck, or whatever, though.

They do. It's called a band without a bass player, Paul. All that's needed is a button. :P

I've been catching up on some of the compressor articles out there, Alex. Like most of the gear, price point does play a difference. As the costs go up, the preferred choices thin out, as they go down pluses and minuses play with each other. Also build or electronic design sometimes trade off. Some new versions are better or worse than their original models. Then personal opinion and mojo takes a swipe at the pedal.

One thing that appears common is how it fits with player style and technique, noise from pickup choice, order of pedals, setup, and design like expansion and compression compatability either working for or against each other within the pedal. Obviously, these are considerations, but what works for some doesn't work for others. Vince Gill is known to use a Boss CS-3 compressor which doesn't work for everyone, but it does for him.

I think you did well with your choice, Alex. Of course only you can tell.

Tell us when ya get it, Alex.

Congrats'

Well. When I mix tracks in projects ,I always use soft compressors in my home studio. That is, at my level, I understand for myself how and why to use compressors . But when I watch my live video , i always want to squash that guitar a bit  So now I will need to adapt to doing this in real time ☺ FSB , you are right . Yes, when this device arrives, I will definitely make a report .I need a little squashIng . Just smooth out dynamics a bit .

That's great, Alex. Looking forward to it. :D

I was an audio operator in broadcasting for several years (much has changed since then), and I know that amongst a large collection of engineers if they were asked (as surveys have reported) what is the one feature that they would add to an otherwise basic board that included eq, it would be compression. I know as a drummer that goes without saying. Any guitarist would likely say the same.YMMV

Bugera Veyron T amp head. 7 pounds, 3 AX7 tubes, 2000 watts peak. It was a demo, paid $450.

Usually pay it through AccuGroove 3 way cabinet with 12 and 6 inch drivers and two soft dome tweeters, sometimes through one or two Avatar B210 cabs.

Destroys everything in its path.

Welcome, SteveJazz73. That Bugera sounds like a great deal. Nice cabs to go with it. I like the looks of the head amp too. Congrats! Enjoy!

My last gear buy was the DOD Boneshaker -- Distortion with EQ. I bought it directly from the manufacturer, Harmon. The street price is usually $149, but Harmon was selling it direct for just $39 with free shipping. Sounds great, but with nine knobs, there is still a lot of tweaking to do. It becomes the 33rd pedal in my current arsenal.

Very kewl looking pedal too, Steve. What's not to like at $39? :D
