I just acquired a Markbass CMD 121P / NY 121. Compact, and easy to move around.

yeah it's still allowed (at least here in New York) for some reason. Probably shouldn't be. And considering how cheap fishing supplies are in general, nobody should be buying them anyway. Buy Tungsten instead.

I'm noticing more and more bassists using those. Decent sound too,

I found a dbx DriveRack 260 in nice condition on KiJiJi.
My old crossover was a no-name POS and wasn't really a very good fit with my cabinets and board in terms of quality.
Neither were the amps, obviously.
Next on my hit-list is a power amp for my subs and a Furman.
I had a pair of inexpensive Crowns that were underpowered and one blew up a year ago last summer even though I rarely pushed them hard.
Cheap (disposable) offshore jobs.
I bought one new MIA QSC (PL325) already but still need another slightly bigger one (PL340) for the subs.
Using the drummer's P/A gear for the time being.

This is the last guitar I brought, a new Audition semi acoustic from the '60's. Came up locally and in all honesty brought it to make a quick profit on, should be able to double my money which will then go into the gear fund for something else.

The condition of it is absolutely unreal. Not a mark on it. Fit and finish is superb, of course the pickups leave a lot to be desired unless you're specifically after a real raw, unrefined tone, Jack white style.

Got myself a new amp aswell after joining a band as I had nothing to gig with, goes well with my micro terror

Image

Plus I got some pedals for the band, a hotone delay, mooer phaser and a noise gate. And a proper pedal case to keep everything in. Buying more stuff to be in a band is as good as being in the band itself hahaha

Like being a kid in a candy shop eh, moochy13? Your 60s Audition looks great, Nice find. Have fun with the rest of the goodies, and the band.

The Orange Crush series are good solid state amps. They don't pretend to be tube amps, like too many SS amps these days, but stand on their own legs, doing what analog solid state is good at. Unmistakably British in sound, with a punchy raw overdrive. Not a substitute for a tube amp, but a very good complement. Congrats.

Yeah I use an electro harmonix English muff'n for my dirty tube sound, so I just needed a nice amp with a nice clean. And I've always wanted an orange, so couldn't resist. The gain on the amp does sound good though.

I thought you'd catch that Orange amp, Paul.

I also like those old, funky hollow-bodies from the days of yore. You can make them do nasty things with feedback and such. :P
