i have been thinking about purchasing the c9 version. did you look into that one too? just curious why you picked one over the other. either one seems a good choice to me.

I have a friend who has a C9 so in the interest of not being redundant I got the B9. The 4 pedals in EHX @9 series of pedals are all pretty cool pedals and they track your playing so well. You could set up a board with all of them separate from your main board. Another EHX pedal I am looking at is the Ravish.

You said it!

For those of us that have been wired to our gear, this is an entirely new level of freedom!

My latest gear purchase was nothing fancy, a Blues Deluxe Harmonica in C, to begin learning some blues lines to go along my rythm playing.

I found a used RJM Amp Gizmo on the internet last evening and bought it.
The guy says it's in as new condition and I paid less than half of new price, shipping included.
I am almost done collecting all the pieces for a new pedal board I want to build this coming winter.
I have put a lot of time and effort into researching options and making choices.
It has not been an inexpensive endeavour.
The Gizmo will allow me to use the pedal switcher/looper (Tail Loop I bought a few months ago) to include amp channel changes along with pedal changes in a user patch.
Some day soon I will forge a new trail (for me) into the world of high tech pedal boards.
The number of possible combinations available with a single toe-tap with the addition of the Gizmo will be mind boggling, to me at least.
I have done the multi-effect unit thing before and I have also done the tube-amp modelling thing before.
They both have their benefits but they also come with issues.
This new route I am going to try should add the wide range functionality of modern devices while still using conventional tube amps and individual pedals.
Still researching which multi-funtion expression pedal to choose.
So far, I'm leaning to the Source Audio Reflex since it can connect to 3 pedals at once and can be triggered remotely via MIDI.

Completely agree with you. I had the X2, the predecessor to the Line6 Relay wireless. I now use the G50. I chose that because it had true diversity. Being used to analogue systems, that made me feel more comfortable. And I like the mini XLR on the receiver.
Sounds better than any cable, near zero capacitance. The bit that it does have comes from the cables used to connect it

Hahahahaha you're going to love it. Really love it. I use the Amp Gizmo with my Mark and G System.
You'll love it. No mucking about at all. A little hard to program, different from programming midi. And make sure you reset the thing, then set it up for your amp. Don't believe what people tell you. I had the "I've been using it on my Mark V" then a hour and a half into wondering why it wasn't doing as it should. I reset it and set it up for my amp. All the gumf about working it is available on line.
The cables are expensive but well worth using. And finally, powering up, power up the Gizmo after your amp if you're plugging into a Mesa with the RJM cable. Or the relays in the amp can go a bit mad. I've not damaged my amp by powering the gizmo up before. It's just annoying

Here's mine though it's now in a 3u rack with the G sys brain. And the wireless and noisegate stuck down behind it.

I just ordered a new pedalboard from NYC Cases.
Not sure what the lead time is and the confirmation email didn't mention anything.
Will post pics when it arrives, whenever that might be.

Two tiers, 36" x 12", 2nd tier 24" wide, so room for two treadles, two positions, flat and tilted up, covered in black bronco tolex, butterfly latches.
This will be the biggest board I've ever assembled ... by a pretty big margin.
Hence, my desire for something with a latched lid rather than the usual home-made plywood boards I usually build.
I'd like to be able to load the board into the van without fear of the pedals being contacted by other gear.
The carry-handle will also be a welcome feature I've not had before.

Planned occupants of this new board will be:
- Strymon Lexx
- EHX B9
- (2) H9s
- FT Mini Deja-Vibe
- FT Clyde Deluxe Wah
- One Control Crocodile Tail Loop

There should be room for two more standard sized pedals but I haven't decided which ones will live there yet.
Leaning to a Keeley Compressor and some manner of boost-box.
There is another first for me in this project; it will be the first time I've controlled pedals via MIDI.
