Thanks, Rickenbacker has discontinued the Ruby from their color options. I'm glad I got the Ruby, even before finding out about the discontinuation of the color.

I bought Bitwig Studio. It's a cross platform DAW and when I tried the demo
version I was sold on it.

Always wanted a Gretsch, but although I love the sound of the large hollow bodies (such as the Eddie Cochran or Brian Setzer models), I don't like the feel of such a large guitar.

Around a month ago, MF had a stupid deal of the day where this Gretsch was discounted an amazing $450, so I sprang for it.
As purchased:Image
Changed the truss rod cover and pickguard, then added a B70 Bigsby:

Sounds very Gretsch-like, but of course not exactly like the larger fully hollow body. Suits me just fine.

Finally bought a Pedaltrain Novo 24 board and a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus power supply so I can have a proper setup. I used to have them set up on the floor in a semi-circle I called The Arc of Doom.

I have bought what I feel is my last effects pedal -- a DOD Envelope Filter 440.

My GAS list has withered to a volume pedal and one or two small amps for recording like a Fender Pro Jr., a VOX AC4 and a Marshall DSL5 or 15.

Steve, last effects pedal? withering GAS ? My recommendation would be a Boss Metal Zone M-2 and a set of active pick-ups for your Telecaster then, call me in the morning (just IMHO YMMV, Doc)

An Analog Man NKT275 Sun Face fuzz pedal, a Prescription Electronics Experience pedal (fuzz + octave + modulation), and a tweed Fender case for my other latest purchase...a sunburst Fender Modern Player Telecaster Thinline Deluxe, on which I replaced the Blinding White pickguard with a Tortoiseshell one, the black pickup covers with some chrome ones, and the amplifier-style tone and volume knobs with domed chrome Tele knobs.

Pics forthcoming.
