I bought an inexpensive but really good sounding tube amp. It's the Monoprice Stage Right 15w. It has 1x12" Celestion speaker and spring reverb. Our friend, Timsaudio, was kind enough to make some recommendations for it (upon my request)... "I would keep the speaker, but change out the preamp tubes. JJ ECC83s Gold pin for v1, standard jjs for v2 and v3. A longer reverb tank would sound lusher than the short one." I will follow his expert advice and get those tubes on order today and maybe the reverb tank too after I check the measurements.

Very cool. 8) I've heard of these amps before, or seen them while browsing around.

Nice, Marky. That’s a good lookin’ funky amp you got there. Have fun with the tweakin’.

Before there was moblie stereo I installed a spring reverb under the dash of my ‘64 Parisienne, hooked it up to my AM radio as was the practice back then. It was a hoot bouncing over the tracks (with the 3 way Jensons blasting) at the many crossings we have around here. Maybe, you could put that to use with your left over ‘verb.
Enjoy your new addition, Marky. :D

The blue or blonde ones are only $80 delivered. That's amazing for a tele-like guitar. The reviews really surprised me. I thought it must be a piece of garbage for that price, but not so.

Classic series 70's strat , a week ago . It was a trade in , perfect condition , plays real nice and a bargain too !
Love the guitar , but I did buy it to modify and tweak a bit , the goal being to both personalize it and make it sound better.

The last (somewhat pricey) gear I purchased?

I ordered the huge GA-FC footswitch from Roland/Boss that works with the new Boss Katana amps. Why they don't include it with the amp, is anyone's guess.

But it is an absolute MUST when you own one of the new Boss Katana line of amps,, as this thing controls everything and makes the amp do whatever you want.

Here is the link to my new amp (Christmas present) --- the incredible Boss Katana Artist amp! Sorry, it's not a Fender, but it sure does give Fender a run for their money!
