Actually, an Amplifi TT.

Using it with the headphones and my iPad. Great for late night jams and learning more about tones. When I play a song on my iPad the Amplifi downloads a matching tone from the cloud. From that I can adjust and share it again or rate it.

But then during the day it's back to the tube amps. ;)

I take it you decided not to keep the Hofner? That wouldn't be the same one from a long time ago, would it? That would be amazing if they still had in in the shop after all of this time.

No, it's a bit of time gone by. I found a pic of a 1967 no F holes EKO. It'a left hand model, but it's the same as my 1969 was.

I had an SG bass.
My wife bought it for me back in another life.
I didn't care for it .... or her for that matter (haha).
I didn't hate it enough not to say "Congrats!" though.
You are certainly leading or at least in the running for the fastest rate of bass acquisition on the board.
You're buying up gear like there's no tomorrow.
Tell us your secret.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Knowing who to sell to for the right price. I do ok with a Gibson SG bass. I've used them for quite a while. The Nylons do feel good to me for playing SG basses also.

Yeah, I'm not sure if they had that one on the site I showed you when we were discussing that on your forum. I should check it again, since you actually found a pic of it and we know what to look for.

I found the pic of the 1967 EKO on TB-Hollowbody page 150 something. It was pictured with a Hofner that I cropped. I think the player who posted the EKO, was in Europe.

I didn't find any like that on the site. I've seen a couple of those basses for sale on Reverb, but they have the f hole. I wonder if the ones without the f hole are rare?

Felix had an EB1 bass, too, didn't he? If I ever hit the lotto I want to get one of those myself.

I don't know about rare, but apparently less used that I know of.

Digitech Trio...haven't had a lot of time to play with it but so far it seems like a really great practice tool (and a harsh reminder of my tendency to want to speed up as the tune goes on).
