I started out the second day of 2020 swapping out the Hartke HD75 Combo, for the Fender Rumble 100 Combo. It worked out fine for my playing.

Thanks Marky. It's only 22 pounds, easier for this old man to move around. I like the sounds from it too. My Epi plays well through it too.

Thanks Mike. I do appreciate lighter gear more now than ever.

I got rid of my beloved 65 Twin for the same reason. Now I have a couple of light weight solid state amps and a small acoustic amp. I have to say that me new ME-80 effects pedal does not sound great with a solid state amp so I'll have to find some cheapo used tube amp. Maybe a Blues Junior.

You parted with a 65 Twin? Wow! You do what you have to do, I've been there myself.
I played bass backing a few lead players that used Fender Twins. One of the finest sounding Fender Guitar amps going. I still remember how great SG's, and Les Paul's sounded through them. There was one guy in particular that ran a Rickenbacker through his Twin.

It was the best sounding amp I ever owned. I got rid of it for three reasons. 1) You already know. I couldn't move it around anymore 2) it was too LOUD for home use and 3) I needed money
like I said, I'm searching for a cheapo used tube amp and maybe my ME-80 will sound better. I think it will. I hope so.

Fender amps are hard to beat, that's for sure. I'm glad I back to using a Fender bass amp.

Thanks, Mike! I was hoping that you would read this, knowing that you have an ME-80 and are always so cool about sharing your wealth of knowledge and experience. I'll look into a nice used Pro Junior! 8) I think the ME-80 will sound great with the right amp. :) I agree, Glenn. You can't go wrong with a Fender amp! :)
