Just bought a new Fender Deluxe Roadhouse for my Birthday.

Vintage White (really a Buttery yellow) with pearloid pick guard and aged white knobs/pickup covers/switch tip. Maple fretboard.

Deliciousness!!!

I have a couple of problems.
1) I'm not really a keys player, I just dabble so I don't actually know what's what on a keyboard.
2) If it's something I only intend to buy once because it's not really my thang then I don't want to make a mistake and buy the wrong thing and then feel the need to upgrade later.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

- Make sure it has at least 61 keys. 76 is better, and 88 is piano range.
- Make sure it has real midi ports. Not just midi through USB.
- Make sure the keys are velocity sensitive.
- Avoid anything that is advertised with lots of "lead" voices. That means it's going to be monophonic for those, and will only play one note at a time.
10 key polyphony is a minimum, but 20+ is better. That means you can slide between chords, without losing the overlap.
- Good piano and electric piano sounds is what most people will be happy with.
- For a stage piano, make sure you can tune it. Sometimes you may have to play with instruments that are very hard to tune, so it's easier if others tune to them.

In my opinion; the best sounding, best feeling Les Paul out there. Remarkable how the one P-90 on that particular guitar can be so versatile and melodic.

Never been a Les Paul guy myself....but my buddy has a hand full of them, and I have messed around a bit on them, and this was the only one that I could ever get into.
I am a Fender Stratocaster guy through and through; but I've even considered buying one of these myself. Best part of it is, the switch is at the bottom by the knobs where it belongs for my play style.

Jamman XT Solo. Love the looper however it is not saving my loops! So, i did a factory reset on Saturday and unplugged it today. Will check tonight to see if the two loops i put on this weekend are still there. I have been emailing with digitech today, they are pretty responsive. Bought it from guitar center about two months ago.

On another note: I freaking love playing electric guitar these days!!!!! Just got back into playing about 3 years ago and man have i been enjoying it. Over the last three years I Bought a used Fender Standard Tele, then a used Fender Standard Strat neck and Fender Standard loaded pickguard for a 2004 squier affinity I have had since 2004; then an Epi Les Paul gold top, used; ThEN a NEW Fender American Standard Strat!!! Play them thru Mustangs I and III. Also, barely touch my '69 Epi 12 string that i have played forwever and my '58 Gibson LG1....but they are there, patient as ever!
Thanks for letting me share. (-:
