Finally got my Mexi-Partscaster finished. It started as an upgrade to my 80'MIJ Squire(new neck) about a year and a half ago and ended up being a whole new guitar. Parts include MIM neck and body,Fender locking machines, fat 60's,vintage style steel block bridge,8 screw mint PG,Schaller strap locks.Quite happy with the result. Love the fat 60's.

Nice amp. 8) Certainly a lot more compact that the previous rig. What's the specs on this one?

112 Combo, 26 Pounds, 300 Watts @ 8 ohms, and 500 watts @ 4 ohms. I may add the external 112 cab.

Pretty compact, I'd say. 300 watts, and 29 pounds, too. I'll bet their cabs are probably light, as well, if you wanted 500 watts out of it.

The Mini CMD 121P is 26 pounds, the NY121 cab is 29 pounds. I think in about a week or two I'll get the NY121 cab.

Nice amp ;-)

Isn't it nice to have a rig that you can carry by yourself without breaking your back?

Wow, that whole rig would be lighter than my Rumble 4 x 10" cab, which is 62.5 pounds.

Good grief, you know that's right.

My Ampeg SVT-410HLF cab was 85 pounds alone. Just under 56, and a quarter pounds of the Markbass stack is fine with me, and still not giving up power, or sounds.

The ironic part is that when I brought my cab home I put it on a luggage cart and rolled it in. I got to the stairs on the first one the support that keeps the handle on the luggage rack popped off so I grabbed the handle on the cab and pulled it up that way. It went well until I hit a 90 degree turn in the stairs. I got it to the first step after the turn it landed on my instep. Not enough to hurt but enough to knock it off balance and almost pull me down the stairs. Needless to say it pulled my back out.

C/S,
Rev J

Yeah, you have to watch what you're doing on stairs, that's for sure. Stairs have never been my friend.
