Congrats on your tele, Joelski. Thanks, for your opinion of the noiseless pups. Good to know. Happy twanging.

I'm not back with the Fender Bassman 800 head.

Got my second EVH guitar today. A Wolfgang Standard in the lovely tri-fade finnish. Terrific guitar for not a lot of money.

Thanks. This Rumble head has me in awe of the ease of the settings to get a truly kicking sound.

Thanks, Fender has really designed a Rumble head that's right there, with the Bassman 800 head, more compact, easier on the wallet, but puts sounds as good or better, and is 800 watts.

800 watts!? Crank that baby, and maybe I can have a listen up here in the north. :P I like the look, Glenn. Reminds me of the minimalist look of high end audiophile gear. The fact that it has quality sound characteristics too is very nice. Looks like a winner. Enjoy. :D

I recently bought a really nice ChromaCast Pro Series Strat & Tele Body Style Electric Guitar Hard Case, from Amazon.

When I received it, I was really disappointed. None of the lids matched up. It was as if the whole case was torqued out of shape. It was easy enough to return but the replacement had a white blotch on the cover and the box it was packaged in showed that, obviously, someone else had returned it. I did not make that hole in the box. That's the way I received it. Nice going Amazon, right?

So I noticed a contact link to ChromaCast on the Amazon page and sent them an email. After a few emails and pictures back and forth, the ChromaCast rep told me that it was ultimately Amazon's responsibility, which I agreed with, but he asked me to give him a couple of days to work on it.

Well was I surprised when I found a package at my front door. It was a perfect case sent by ChromaCast at no charge! They called it a warranty replacement.

How cool was that? I got the perfect case that I wanted plus, I got to keep the case with the white blotch on it (that was functionally perfect) all for the price of one case. In my experience, it's not often that a manufacturer will go to such lengths to make sure their customers are happy. ChromaCast didn't have to do anything, but they did, and for that I give them two big thumbs up. Plus, it's a fantastic case! ChromaCast Rocks!

Sorry to hear about your case, Marky. Happy to see you got it resolved in a very good way. Kudos to Chromacast and their rep. Looks like you did everything right.

Nice that you kept your cool and gave credit where credit is due. I try to do that whenever possible. These things happen, and very often the person informed of the problem is not responsible. Many of us have been on both sides, so good on ya!

Enjoy your new case, Marky. Maybe, you can slap a funky sticker on the damaged one, :P

Thanks, FSB. I found it so unusual for a manufacturing company to go so far to please a customer, that I had to post it. It was not their responsibility but ChromaCast took care of me, even when they didn't have to. Now I have this fine, extra Strat/Tele case with nothing in it. Hmmm...
