I just picked up a 3" wide Lock-it Strap and it works and feels great.

I thought it was a pretty decent snag myself. The Fender Mustang PJ is a friendlier neck to play, over the Gibson SG Std. I had recently. $950. less in sticker price too. Image

Gotta love that, I’m really liking the mint green PG with the Olympic White. It pops, but it doesn’t knock your eyes out of alignment. I’d keep it, but I know you YMMV.

The rosewood neck suits this one too very well, IMHO.

It's not Rosewood. Its a really nice Pau Ferro. Some of the more recent Pau Ferro I've seen was lighter, and a bit washed out looking. At least on Mustang PJ's. I kinda' would like a White PG with the Olympic White, but the Mint Green PG is stated to grow on me. Yes, it is easy on the peepers for sure. This may be a keeper. Image

The Pau Ferro (my faux pas) looks terrific. I too have seen it in a lighter form, somewhat like new age mahoganys.

I’m sure your choice in PG will be just fine. I think the MG is a keeper, but youse is the PG Presto Changeo Guru, Glenn. :P

The Mustang PJ is playing fine through the Super Bassman / SVT-212AV Image
