Enjoy!

I ordered two packs of D'Addario ETB92S Nylon strings to have as a back up for the Gibson. I can't acquire these strings locally.

Dropped in to the music store today to get the acoustic’s replacement D’Addario Humidipaks because my old ones are becoming petrified. :| One of the downsides of getting older is your gear often ages with you, and a lot of that stuff can be a vintage gem, perhaps irreplaceable, or a vintage piece that has seen better days. Sadly, sometimes that comes in bundles at the same time. YMMV.

I need speakers for this and that, and decided to not repair the few I had blah blah. I passed by a Sally Ann today on the way to the music store. I prefer to donate to this great organization when I can. I picked up two near perfect Sony two way bookshelfs for the stereo. Nothing special, but the better ones I have are ported in the back and that’s a problem in the bookcase. The front dual ported Sonys weren’t able to be tested, but they came with guarantees. I took them, and for $16.00 I was satisfied to just donate the money should they not work. After using a Stereo Review test CD, doing frequency sweeps, and tweaking the stereo, I now have two nice ones both audibly and cosmetically, from Sally Ann to pair with my Paradigm active subwoofer, and because these are only 50 watts (loud enough), my 150 watt better bookshelfs will be matched up with my separate class A 150 watt amp, :P Such a deal! Now I’ll be able to direct my attention to replacement monitors for my desktop. But, no hurry on that, I can now take my time. Maybe, I’ll get lucky twice.:D

Since I've been working 6 nights a week for the last 6 months and spending the same amount of money as I do when I'm not that busy I've been eyeballing a Warwick Steve Bailey 6 on eBay. I have what I've been told is the last Fender Steve Bailey VI and want something that feels similar that isn't a collector's item.

You know, after the conversation about the tube bias thing, I had a feeling this was going to happen. :P Cool amp, though. 8)

I don't mind having the extra 200 watts with the Super Bassman, over the V-4B either. It's 24 pounds over the V-4B, but not going anywhere. The SVT-212AV works well with a Super Bassman. I've talked with a few players locally, and online that use the same setup.

Nice Super Bassman!!! Love the tube tone of a Fender bass amp.
I picked up a couple pair of coated nickel D Addario exp125, light top-regular bottom for the kit-LP.

Smooth move on the D'Addario strings. A great playing brand of strings. The Fender tube heads do give a decent tonal range to tune in on.
