I bought this to try to keep my fingers strong. It's the only one I could find where you can adjust the tension on each finger individually and, if you pull off the large gray pad, there are plastic "strings" molded into it to keep up your calluses. I can use it work on my picking hand thumb too. :)

How well does that thing work?

It was pretty inexpensive to boot.
Under $20 Canadian so probably under $15 USA.

If anyone is interested in doing this it is called:

Hosa PWD-402

An Ampeg BA 210 amp. I have a Rumble 150 that I want to keep in great shape and I always wanted an Ampeg. It is a beauty! Sweet sound and loud!

2x10 S/S bass combos with adjustable tweets are the bomb in my opinion.
Loud enough for most situations, very tuneable to meet the room and light and portable to boot.
48 pounds ... nice.
I also like the fact the drivers are stacked diagonally, reducing your stage footprint compared to side by each.

Nice score, Eric.
Enjoy.

I bought Seymour Duncan pickup covers, because non-covered pickups annoys me to no end. It looks so unprofessional, like they never bothered to finish the job.

Nice! I know what you mean about the unfinished look. I feel the same way about mismatched coloured pups/covers with the exception for the odd gold or silver lipstick pup. It always reminds me of some automobiles that came with uninstalled accessory covers or tabs that mismatched the colour of a dash or door.

With pups the sound takes precedence; but, for me it still looks like a mistake. YMMV Kinda like random mixing up the black and white keys of a keyboard (were that possible).

That’ll give you what one of the more popular Classic Strats of the time should sound like. IMHO. A friend’s original ‘62 Daphne was the first one I had the pleasure of playing (in ‘64), and I recall it sounded sweet. But, you know that already. :D
Which pickups are you replacing, Mike? I believe the original ‘62’s were not reverse wound as these are. Will you be adding or needing shielding and modding the tone to period correct? TIA.

Enjoy, Mike!
