Nice!
I got lazy when I switched everything out on my Hwy. 1 Strat. I ordered a loaded pickgaurd (you pick and choose any combinations you like, and they build it for you) from Twilight Guitars...and then only had to solder the input jack wires.

I am NOT very good at soldering...the jack was all I really cared to tackle on my own.

My wife and I bought a new, Fender DG-60 yesterday at Guitar Center , which was on sale for only 99 bucks. We donated it to a charity which sends out X-Mas gifts to the less fortunate.

Well, it wasn't a "purchase"...it was a gift. My son and his fiancé asked what I'd like for Christmas, and I said a Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner.

Always wanted to try a tuner pedal, but for some reason never bought one.
The kids are saving their money for a wedding next year, as well as a house...so I didn't want to have them spend tons of money (and telling them "don't buy me anything" doesn't work). so I requested the TU300 at under $25.00 (US).
This thing is right on. I tuned up using it, then checked it against my Fender FT-004 clip-on and my Korg CA-1 plug-in...all three gave the same readings.
It is heavy duty, and simple to use...and there is no interference in sound quality what-so-ever.
Not sure if position in the chain of pedals has any bearing on function and/or sound quality; but I can vouch for this pedal when positioned at the very beginning of the chain, and using the by-pass jack.

I guess, based on functionality and build...can't really see why people would spend upwards of $70.00 to $100.00 (US) on a tuner pedal, when this one does the same thing for $25.00 (aside from brand loyalty I suppose).

I don't usually post the new pedals I get because, let's face it, I try a lot of pedals.
It's a weakness. (sigh...)

That said, this is a little different. There's some money involved here. I've dabbled with switchers in the past and usually felt they were more trouble than they were worth but I decided to give it another whirl.

It's the One Control - Crocodile Tail Loop

It just arrived today. I will be studying the instructions and trying some test patches to determine capabilities and usefulness. Then will come the real work; deciding on pedals, layout, configuration and finally a pedal board build. I will very likely post pics when it's all said and done but don't hold your breath. I like to take my time on a project like this. Consider variables and then chew on it for a time and then revisit my thinking. I consider this to be somewhat of an ambitious undertaking.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

One of these on the way, Peter Green / Gary Moore lemon drop copy, a real bargain at a snip under £300 by all accounts. Not a chance of my wallet forking out for the real thing sadly, only bad review was in the relicing, popped for the reissued version without the added wear n tear

G&L M-2500 5 string - metallic blue finish, maple fretboard. Found a price on a site that was too good to pass up for a US-made G&L and I didn't have a 5 string bass, so there it was.
