The strap looks great on your Strat, Sérgio. Nice choice.

Pretty slick, Sergio. You buy a nice strap and you get a cool Strat with a case. Nice.

Thanks, brothers...

I do love the feel of a good strap. Life is too short to dress your guitars on polyester/plastic stuff...

The custom handmade embroided strap I ordered has arrived. I loved the feel and the looks... Very comfortable, doesn't "bite" your shirt and won't slip either. Stays put and it's made of cotton, so it's probably comfortable all nite long. A gig favorite, that is.

Looks killer on my strats!

Pretty cool. 8)

Wow, that's a beauty and a bit of a surprise. How does it compare?

Pretty cool. 8) Don't they actually make their own rounds for those basses? I think you can buy them on their site.

How does it compare to what? You lost me on this one. Of course, this time of the morning is pretty east to scramble my mind.

I'm pretty sure Ric does make their own strings. Rickenbacker 95511, Electric Bass 4 String Set (45-105). SA offers them as well, for $26.99. I saved the Ric set that I removed from this one.

Ric may produce a good number of their parts. It makes too much sense to produce your own parts. Ric has the control of the parts that way. Availability, design specs, and sometimes even QC. That's the old American way for producing, and backing your product.

Sorry... how does it compare to your Fenders? I'm not familiar with Rics. Quality, price, tone, etc.

Yeah, they are pretty protective with that. They'll also really go after anyone who tries to copy anything resembling their products.

The tone of the 4003 is about the same as a Precision. Quality is as good as either one can be, at the time it's assembled. There should be a slight advantage to the 4003 for that though. If we're comparing the 4003 to a USA Geddy Lee jazz, Fender Bass, the 4003 is about $400.00 more. The 4003's nut size 1.688", as compared to a Precision's nut size of 1.625. The radius of the fretboard on the Fender is 9.5", and the 4003 is 10". The 4003 neck is through the body, where a Fender is bolted to the body.

That's very cool, Glenn. It sounds like a nice bass. Enjoy!

I think it's good to do that. It's their product, not Moe, Larry, or Curly's.
