I picked this up in a pawnshop 2 wks ago for VERY cheap.

It's at the guitar tech's shop right now getting set up right now.

Should have it next week.

Can't wait.

That's a good looking Precision Bass. Is it a 1978?

Thanks Marky.

Yes it's a '78 and the 1st Natural colored guitar or bass I've ever owned.

It's weird that it's supposed to be a natural color, but looks more amber color in person.

Yes, I see what you mean about its' color.

Since you got it very cheap, this site may make you very happy:

Have fun!

Wow. I hadn't even looked at the going rate of these basses.

I knew they were at least worth at least twice what I paid for it.

It looks like I picked it up at about 1/3 of it's going rate.

It's always nice to find a good deal on an older vintage piece like this.

Nice pic of the gear. Congrats on the 410 cab.

Thanks! I'm glad the pic situation is fixed now. 8)

Nice P Bass you have there. 8) The natural wood finish on it, and the black pickguard with the thumb rest, reminds me of the '77 Jazz I had 30 years ago.

Thanks Paul.

I think the Natural and black pickguard is a good looking combo for sure.

Sorry for the grainy pic.

Keeley Dynatrem

So far I like it.
I had a Fulltone Supa-Trem on the board but it took the space of two pedals.
With this one dialed as shown the effect is somewhere between a tremolo mixed with reverb and a Uni-Vibe.
Mostly tremolo with a hint of Vibe added in, I guess.
I think it might stay on the board.

This, of course, is for my #2 rig.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Pretty cool. 8) The design of it reminds me of an old school transistor radio.
