Here's another pic with it, my Schecter, and Fred. Fred watches over the gear. :P

You waited long enough for that cab. In the future, If you want a cab faster, call it a TAXIE! Image

Orange you glad the cab arrived? Those cabs must be powerful. Looks like Fred had his clothes blown off. Poor fella.

Yeah, no joke! :P I guess they go at a slower pace out in California. :P Yeah, it takes flapping your trousers with the low end to a whole another level. :P

I'm waiting for UPS to deliver an Ibanez JD9 Jet Drive pedal any minute now.

Picked up what I thought to be a basket case '69 Super Reverb that was in a home made box as a head thinking I could part it out. Well surprise, surprise, amp tech checked it out and sure enough everything was working at almost factory spec, so a fuse, cap job and a NOS 5U4GB rectifier and she is running great. So now it appears I will have a nice winter project. Ordered a new cabinet from Mojotone with a 2x12 combo configuration and going to put some old Jensen C12Q's I have been holding onto for years. The one hard item to find is going to be a new faceplate. Going for a blackface one, and the cab is gonna be blonde with oxblood grill cloth. Looking forward to working this one with my youngest son. It is going to be a surprise for him once we finish. I may do a post on the rebuild over on the vintage amp section.

The Jensen C12Q's, should go nice in that setup. Image

A Taylor Baritone 6 today.
Look for an NGD thread tomorrow or next day.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Yeah those speakers have been sitting around for 20 years looking for just the right project! I have ordered most of the parts so now I am in the waiting on the mail phase...the worst part!

Classic series 70's strat , a week ago . It was a trade in , perfect condition , plays real nice and a bargain too !

The pickups are a little bright , I have ordered a set of custom shop 69 pickups and a white pearloid pickguard.

Love the guitar , but I did buy it to modify and tweak a bit , the goal being to both personalize it and make it sound better.

Nice score, BG55!

Those Classic Series Strats are great guitars.
