Picked up this unusual little gem yesterday. At first, I told myself: "Nah, I really don't need this crazy 12-string Strat XII." Then I picked it up and started strumming, and I'm afraid that was my mistake. The neck on this thing is amazing!! :D

And they're a whole lot cheaper than a Rick!

I put a set of CS 69 pickups in mine -- if you squint a little they almost sounds like DeArmond toasters......

Pardon this name-drop, but I just posted this thing up on Facebook too and got a nice comment from Jesse V. formerly of Gin Blossoms fame: "It will change your life." Very, very cool to hear that from him ... have always been a big fan of Jesse's playing!

Cool guitar. 8) Too bad they discontinued it. I especially thought the purple one was really spiffy.

More from Jesse on this one: "I prefer them to [insert certain other brand that starts with the letter R here.] Love the neck, sound and the ease of play. Have fun. There's hours of enjoyment in those 12 strings"

Thanks for allowing me to share this fanboy moment. :D

Congrats , Brad ! I've seen them for sale from time to time, and have been close to buying one, but sadly it never happened.
Here's one guy enjoying the neck :)

Very Cool! 8) Congrats! I want one. Does Fender have any plans of making any new ones for the unwashed masses? :)

Yeah, he's a completely tasteful player, if you know what I mean.

You guys should come out with another electric 12 string. Hint, hint, nudge, nudge. :P

Huh. Cool.
I keep wondering what it would be like with a tremolo bridge.

Your hint is so subtle ... what are you trying to say, exactly? Ha ha. Anyway, I'll pass that sentiment along! :D
