What a lucky amp to have such a lucky home. Have great times with it, Minnesota.

Congrats on a great amp! If your ever lucky enough to play it at 4.5 to 6, hold on to your socks.....or better yet dont wear any. Anyhow, enjoy it and glad you were able to find one at a killer price.

You buy something, thinking that you'll expand and learn and do something new, and then you find you either don't have the time or commitment, or it's just not for you. And a good while later, you realize that you feel guilty, and sell it cheap to someone who'll put it to better use.!

Arth,

I really think you should buy a Deluxe Reverb........and pm me a good while later. :D

I'd love a Deluxe Reverb reissue myself, but I don't play anything right now that would sound better on it. Some ballad style solos, perhaps, but then I'd take a higher powered amp. Otherwise, what I play either needs crunch or an absence of reverb and tremolo. Others play stuff where a DRRI would shine, and can work magic with it. But if I bought a DRRI, or a strat for that matter, I think it would likely sit there most of the time, and end up in someone elses home once I felt guilty enough.

Anyhow, I'm glad that this one found a good home!

Seller dropped it off on the way to a gig so must still play. Guess there was just something about the amp he didn't like. His loss.

I have had quite a few fender amps and my favorite is the deluxe reverb. I love mine.

Yeah, I should have asked him what amp he was gigging with. It was a country band

It should work well for that, being bright and with a soft reverb - better than for heavy metal, certainly :)
But if playing for loud crowds and a bassist who thinks life begins at 200W, a DRRI might not be loud enough, unless mic'ed through a PA.
