The Todd Krause masterbuilt Koi strat has to be pretty close to the top of my list.

yeah you're right of course I was just hoping Alain would elaborate on this beautiful strat...
I see the price was originally ASK and if you had to ASK then you would not have been able to afford it! :D

I've always liked the way the Deluxe Player Strats looked with the gold hardware and 4-Ply Tortoiseshell pick guard, especially in the Crimson Red or Sapphire Blue Transparent finishes. I've never had the chance to play these, so I don't know how they play or any of that. If I were to be looking to get a Strat, I'd definitely like to check these out, especially since they're not too expensive. I'm don't play guitar that much, just bass, so it wouldn't make sense to spend over a thousand dollars on a custom guitar (even though it would be nice) that would not get a lot of action.

I like mine the best. The light was wrong, it's Crimson Transparent.
Oly White/maple is a close second (for me).

American Standard with Lead/Bullet configuration/wiring? The vintage 6-screw bridge is an aftermarket mod.

Nice-sounding partscaster :P

Wrong, Professor.
It's a Highway 1, not a 'partscaster'.
