My 2011 FSR in Lake Placid Blue - pretty rare as a leftie. I've put a splittable humbucker in the bridge with a push/push tone pot pot to avoid having to get my fingernails under the dial! Looks amazing, and sounds amazing too. Coupled with my Mustang III v2.2 I can get a great range of authentic tones - I don't even get laughed out of blues jams anymore!

Looks like the '50's Strat I saw at GC yesterday. I liked the neck on that guitar
Is that Daphne Blue? [/quote]

No. A different finish. I didn't much commit the name to memory. Perhaps you can find it on their color chart.

The color is called (Jetstream Blue). It's a '50s Cadillac color, Fender never used it back then but thought it would be interesting now for a special edition.

Uli Jon Roth's White maple fretboard Fender Strat he used in the mid/late 70's in the Scorpions, also the best sounding guitar I've ever heard.

Yours???? Being played or displayed? Alainlafrance insists on playing the guitars in his impressive collection.

There's a story about Les Paul giving Richie Sambora a pretty white Les Paul Custom for his birthday with hand wound pickups by Les himself to record the album "New Jersey". Some time later after recording the albums "New Jersey and "Stranger In This Town" Richie gave Les the guitar at a Fat Tuesday's gig. I bought it at the Estate Of Les Paul Auction in Beverly Hills a few years back. Same place they sold Leo's #1 Nocaster. I also own Les's own documented copy of the famed Les Paul he gave to Richie with the same hand wound pickups. It's been pretty well played. I do practice on that. The Strat is just too danged new and pretty. LMAO!.......

Richie owned a white prototype with a pair of DiMarzio Choppers in the neck & middle. This guitar - dubbed as RS102 - was crafted by Jay W. Black in 1991; it is currently in the Hard Rock Cafe of Las Vegas.

We already know the Sambora Strat was offered only with a 1-piece maple neck/fretboard in cherry sunburst and arctic white. The RS11 (another Jay W. Black Masterbuilt one-off creation) is unusual for the former Bon Jovi lead guitar nut as it featured a black finish and an ebony fingerboard.
