Interesting, it kind of looks more blue than green in this picture.

It's the lighting in the room when I shot it.

Yeah, I figured as much. I've always thought that bass would look cool in other finishes, too.

Something about the Sherwood Green Metallic that seems to blend pretty nice with the Rosewood board, with the Pearloid inserts though.

That is nice. I liked that British Racing Green finish they had in the 60's, too. I'm not sure, but I guess that finish is rare as rocking horse poop. I think there might be an Eric Clapton Strat that has it, or something like that, as far as more recent guitars go.

British Racing Green is a cool color. I'd like to see the AC Jazz in Candy Apple Red, with gold metal flake. That would go nice with the old Kustom amps.

Oh yeah, you have to get the multiple stacks of them with the 3 x 15" cabs. 8)

I always liked the 2 2X15 JBL cabs, with the 200 head. They were great.

You have that as a bass rig at one time?

No, but a close friend of mine used one, with my Gibson EB0 I sold him. I move around a few of them too for others. I would have liked to have had one. I may have played, and not become a Roadie.

They certainly weren't cheap. I think they either cost or list priced for something like $1300 for the stack back in the late 60's. That certainly was a big chunk of change back then. I've seen the old catalogs online.

I don't recall the pricing on them. But they were for real working amps.

I think you can still find them working today, so that should say a lot. That's also one thing I can say about those old Peavey amps, too.

That does show the amps that were made better, did last longer.

I suppose it also depends on how well they are taken care of, too.
