Electric: MIM Strat with Lace Gold 50s - nice warm Jazzy sound.

Acoustic: Guild F-50

Bass: Toss up - AmDeluxe J-Bass has a very fast neck but gets noisy at rock / rock-blues volume; G&L L2000 isn't quite as fast but is whisper quiet at any volume.

Still with the Schecter J Bass with a side of Squier Jazz for the most part. I still haven't got around to getting my other basses fixed with their shorts in them (probably the jacks,) but they've did their duty over the years, so they can rest for now. The problem that it's just been a bunch of other crap going on in life that things like that can take a backseat for a long time, especially when you do have other working equipment. I would like to see them working again, eventually.

Yeah, I think so too. A little luck can go a long way sometimes.

I was more than surprised to see they still had it, and that it was in prime condition. And I still had the set of Nylons that came off of it from before.

How often do you change those strings out?

The only reason I had the strings from before, I changed out the nylons for the original Fender Strings. I thought it might help to sell the bass faster with original strings on board.
I haven't changed out Nylons because of going bad.

You don't have any issues with those being heavier gauged than the strings that typically come with the various basses, or are they a lot heavier? I know the Rotosound nylons are pretty thick.

If you're talking about the D'addario ETB92 Nylons, nope. They're gauge size is vet neutral in size. (.50, .65, .85, .105) Some of the basses that are strung with D'addario strings from the factory use this sizings, or so close to it.

That's all they are? The Rotosound Tru Bass 88 are .65 .75 .100 .115 gauge. A lot thicker.

That's it. On Am. Std. Jazzes, and Precisions, they're a good fit without having to do any resets.
