Saw one at a local store for ridiculously low price, told my gf that she should consider it for her daughter as starter electric... but ended up buying one for myself. Just a joy to play and I like the EMG pickups a lot!

Other than a Jazz, I go back to a Rickenbacker 4003. This one's a Jetglo.

I have two guitars that I periodically go back to: my green Clapton Strat and my home built Andy Summers Tele. Both are great guitars, but there are issues with both. The Clapton Strat needs new frets and I'm not entirely satisfied with the sound of the Andy Tele. I'm thinking about taking out the mid-range scoop tone knob and replacing it with a regular one.

My current go to guitars are my Dlx Strat Plus (that guitar is so useful and sounds amazing) and my '75 Strat (Very responsive pickups).

Currently, I play predominantly in various groups, with varying styles, at church. The Dlx Strat Plus works very well with effects and allows me to find different voicings for the different styles I'm playing.

Here are some samples of the music I'm doing.

Dude, I know you started this thread and all, but so far you have listed like five or six different guitars that is the one you keep going back to. It's starting to become more of a "present all my guitars" thread...

My 2012 MIM Stratocaster...as others have said, it just "fits" me so good. Love every single thing about it. Only modification I have done to it was replace the one rams horn string guide with two American 'T' guides, and traded the original strap buttons for locking ones...otherwise it is completely stock, and blows my American Strat off the map.

This thread is intended to be general postings of past or present. If not the exact bass, or guitar, the type. New, or replacement basses, or guitars are fine for postings here.

I don't even know what that means.
The title of the thread is "Anyone Have A Bass, or Guitar You Keep Going Back To?"

Fine, if next time I contemplate starting a thread, I'll check with you first on the wording of the title.

From his posts, it seems that Mr. Nylon regularly rotates his "current favorite" instrument out, playing whatever bass from his arsenal that is striking his fancy at that moment...so he may have a half-dozen or so basses he "goes back to," but that doesn't preclude the initial post or question posed in the thread

My "main" guitar is my Telecaster, but I regularly "go back to" my Strat, my G&L, my acoustics or my resonator...There's nothing wrong with that...I take the time to re-acquaint myself with a lesser-used guitar, microphone or accessory from my herd
