I whole heartedly agree with you about Jazz necks being a fine configuration. True, a bit longer, but its at least a little thinner. Pretty quick as well. Some of the better Fenders for me anyway, have been Jazzes.

Yeah, I suppose if it weren't for the weight of them, you'd probably still be playing them. I remember they were giving you trouble.

I had some lighter than the Player Jazz, that I should have stayed with. But overall, the EB-0 has everything I like in a bass. It's kinda' like a short Jazz neck, 12" radius, mounted on an SG body. Image

You know, I couldn't really tell you how heavy the Squier Jazz is, since it's really been ages since I even played it standing up, and really didn't for any extensive amount of time. It never was a "main bass," as it were. Although, it does seem lighter than the Schecter I had, which I did play extensively, including standing. I know my violin bass is totally a featherweight, which kind of spoils you in some ways.

I know what you mean with that neck on your bass. That was the first thing I'd noticed with the one that I played way back when. I can see why you like it so much.

Okay, youse bass guys. A few more stupid questions coming your way.

Have you ever used or seen or heard of a bass player using this type of option or would you ever consider using one or is the swag missing? It is difficult to find an all in one stand that can handle a bass, but they’re out there.

As far as rawkin’ the house with a bass, how about swinging a bass like, who else, Pete Townsend into a cab? Did ya ever see that happen?
That could be a whole new game like golf where instead of picking your club you pick your bass for your best swing.

I can say, I've never seen a bass player pretend to be Peter Townsend. Two Bass players that did move around the stage like Peter Townsend, Felix Pappalardi, and Jack Bruce.

I thought about getting one of those stands for my bass, just to be pretentious. :P I've known of bassists using their instruments to club some unruly audience member, if that's what you mean by doing a Pete Townshend. I've never done that. If it even came down to that, I carry some police tactical grade pepper spray that will give someone a bad day, if they decide to act up to that point. It saves any dents or dings on your bass. :P

Thanks, for chiming in Glenn and Paul. Just think. A stand like that could do double duty. As a stand, and you could save your bass from harm should you decide to fend off intruders or do a Pete Townsend. You could hang your toque on it too.

Nope! It won’t fit in the glove compartment and the snow would collect in the brim. It would look really cool around here though, and the chin string would come in handy on those windy days. Might look good on the hockey rink or on the vuvuzela player in the stands. :P

Champaign hats for Drill Sargents, DI's, and State Troopers too. Before the FL State Troopers went with Champaign hats, they wore Stetsons. They had some style, but some of the new folks to the state thought it gave them that good ole' boy look. So adios Stetsons, and hello Champaign hats. Image

Now they can help out with the Girl Scout cookies. :P

For the uninitiated:

When they legalized that funny stuff up here Dudley traded in his scout hat and off duty toque for a sun tan and a tummy tuck with a booty lift when he moved to California for better weather, and he’s got his eyes on you two.
