Plus, it also has a DI output, which could be handy, if ever needed.

Yep, the Hartke didn't have that.

I'm surprised it didn't, especially at that wattage. Did it even have an effects loop? You can use those like a line out. I've done it before.

Yeah, I think it has an effects loop. I'm super impressed though by the Rumble overall.

Yeah, I know I like mine, which by the way, January 5th will be the 8th anniversary since I purchased it. I've had it going for 8 years now, and it's still going. That's probably the longest I've ever owned a particular amp, with maybe the Peavey Databass combo after that. I think I may have held on to that one for at least 5 years, maybe 6, but I'm not too sure about that.

That's really great with your eight years on the Rumble. It's a good thing Fender stuck the Rumble, and had the foresight to do some up grades to them since their inception. I almost wished I stayed with the Rumble 100 I had five years ago.

The Rumble series really is a good Fender Bass Amp. The Hartke was just over 48 pounds, for basically the same 12" Combo. The Rumble is 100 watts, in place of 75 watts the Hartke has.

It was the same model you have now?

I guess it was, unless they did some changes on it from then to now. The model number is the same anyway. Rumble 100. 3rd Generation. That was in May of 2015, when I had the first Rumble 100. This one is manufactured in Indonesia. I have no clue where the first was manufactured. China maybe?

I think the 3rd generation Rumbles have always been made in Indonesia, from what I remember. You had that in 2015? I don't remember you having that one, even though I knew you back then. I do remember you having the other Fender stuff, though. I take it you didn't have it that long?

From what I even remember, no, I didn't have it for very long at all. In all probability, I must have gone back to the head / cab setup from the combo. I have no clue where the Rumbles manufacture was back then.

You probably did. We could find out by doing some forum grave digging. :P

It was about the first, or second week in May 2015, I acquired the Rumble  100c.

Well, that was before the thread about new gear purchased, which was September 21st by Miami Mike. Out of curiosity, I looked further and the first thing I posted (actually on the same day) was when I got that MXR bass preamp, and you got a Gibson SG Standard, which I'm assuming was the guitar, not the bass? I do remember you getting a 6-string before. I can't believe I've had that MXR pedal since 2015, albeit in the end of September. I still have it, even though it's been a long time since I've used it, and I'm assuming it still works. I did put a fresh battery in it, and plugged it in to test it to see if it did work, but that was probably a few months ago now. You know how time will fly like that.

By the way, I reading back there I saw a few people that used to post here regularly but haven't been around in ages. I guess life got in the way, like everything else. A lot of people like to use social media more than forums these days, anyway.
