I always like seeing the smaller places still around too.

Yeah, I imagine it isn't as easy these days to keep a business like that going, especially if you don't have an internet store of some kind. I'd definitely be doing that, if it were me. Have a storefront on Reverb or eBay, I suppose.

Yeah, you have to do what you have to do to make it.

Local store competition was bit more fair. But the internet isn't very forgiving.

That it can be. Although, with a lot of sites now having to charge sales tax, that might change things, but there's still the overhead of running an actual store location.

Plus, its pretty tough for a local location to have the stock on hand a warehouse distribution location can handle.

That's true. They might have only so much storage, depending on the size of the place, and you'd even be lucky if there was any sort of extensive bass gear to be had.

Not to mention the expense of more on hand stock.

Yeah, the companies have to make money with the products they make, then the businesses make whatever profit they can on top of that, hopefully to cover any overhead besides that.

I decided to go with the Fender Rumble 100 after all.

Cool choice. 8) At least that will be easier to move around, and you got some bonus features with that, too.

Yeah Paul, I think it was a good move. Size wise, the cab is only a couple of inches smaller in height, and width. The depth is the same on both the Rumble 100, and the Hartke HD75. I can't complain about the 100 watts, and the 12" Eminence either.

It seems like it's all around a lot of good specs.

It really is. The 100 is a good mid power, and mid size amp in the Rumble Series.
