Youse guys have this Fire Pig (‘47) pulling the toque over my snout so you can’t see me crying so hard with laughter.
What I haveta know is did you get anything fixed yet, Paul? :P According to the Chinese Zodiac I get things done immediately. That’s prolly ‘cause I usually find them lost and found in front of me when I least expect it. Cue the band.

I don't know what's going on above in the thread, but I haven't had a chance to look at that bass yet. At least it does work, sans that minor ground him issue.

That’s sounds good (pun). If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it (unless there’s a next time), Paul. :P Hope it was just a temporary quirk. Those can be a PITA or liveable depending on the need.

I have a quirk with my Mustang IV. Wouldn't ya know it. The problem started under warranty; but, chances were slim that I could produce the volume drop when on the bench, so it remains intermittent at times. It doesn’t happen often, and because it’s not for gigging I decided it still has value and not worth the trade or sale. A supplemental amp may show up some day, but other gear has priority.

That bass is just an extra one I have around, so it's not like I have an issue with my main one, although I would like to get it back in serious action, since it does have a beefy sound to it. At least I know it's not seriously screwed up to where it needs extensive and professional repairs done to it, or I least I hope so.

What's wrong with that amp, it's volume drops out when you're playing on it?

I'm used to that, because I'm also guilty of doing that, as well. :P
