The USA Geddy Lee Jazz is sounding really good through the Ampeg V-4B/SVT-212AV. It matches up well with it. The tubes in the V-4B do perform as I hoped they would, giving that nice 60's tube sound. Image

The guitar I keep on going back to is the next new addition hanging on the wall with a pricey tag in the store. Whoo boy!

Sounds pretty good. 8) I'm hoping I'll be able to get my amp/bass situation settled, as well.

I'm in the process of switching out the SG Std. Walnut, for an Am. Pro. Jazz, Olympic White / Rosewood board. Film at 11:00 Or later! Image

 I’s just not in me to be a guitar sl*t. Okay, maybe it is. I’m just not worthy of some of those great guitars, and I need a rich uncle. Anybody’s uncle will do. Maybe I’ll start a charity. Helloooo. Anybody?

Speaking of Jazz Basses, I still pick up and play mine, even though I've been sticking with the violin bass. Meanwhile, the Precision has been sitting in a case ever since I'd last used it in a band rehearsal a couple of weeks ago. I'm actually thinking about what I want to do, as far as that one is concerned. It's a nice bass, but I've noticed I do better with the violin bass, and the Jazz, which has a thinner neck, even though not a short scale.

You almost sound like me preferring a Jazz size neck, over a Precision size. You may decide the Precision isn't the right feel overall.

Now there’s a reason for a Wrap party.

Very nice, Mr. Nylon. I haven’t seen a Fender top colour popularity (sales result) list for some time; but, the last I looked 3 tone Sunburst topped the list at 40 percent, and Olympic White (on white) was the next popular colour, although I can’t recall by what percentage (if I recall correctly it was somewhere around 20 percent). Black was third and percentage was around 10 percent. Other colours such as red filled the rest of the spots. Times change, but my thoughts are not by much looking at the availability. The list was for Strats, but it would appear similarities exist throughout the lineup.

However you look at it, that combo looks sweet and classy, Mr. Nylon.

Thanks, for the pics. I suspect a sequel may show up someday though. Then again this one may be the award winner because I know it looks great with the stack. Enjoy!
