Ah! Then there is the colour. So much to choose from. As soon as it is chosen an explosion of others arrive to surround it in all their glory. Some good some bad . . . but, there they are waiting to be the next chosen colour like players looking to have their time on center stage.

What will it be? What pick will be the lucky one to be scooped from this palette that awaits?
:D

I could seriously be swayed to maybe a Black finish, over the factory Black finish, I'm not sure though. Some serious deliberations, or hallucinations may be required for this acquisition. :?
That looks to be pretty skookum. Lots of choices on those paint chips, huh?

With regards to black, and being that car colours are transferred to guitars, I’ve always like that black cherry finish seen on some Caddies. I don’t know the true name , but I believe it’s a clear coat in black cherry red over a black undercoat or the other way around. Looking at it one way you get black and from other angles the subtle black cherry red shows through.

I’ve seen candy apple colours do a similar effect with and without sparkles or flakes the best being real sea shell bits like mother of pearl. I used to have a terrific 60s out of print hot rod paint book from Petersen’s that had pearl, candy, and metallic formulas. I wish I had it today for reference, but the paint has changed anyway.

No matter, I know you’ll pick something cool, Mr. Nylon. 8)

Cant Apple Red with Gold Metal Flakes is the best. However, since USA GL Jazz is Black, or Black, I guess I'll go with Black. I just comes down to what flavor of PG do I to install. Black Moto, or Black. Hmmmmmm,....................

Hmmmmmm. Well, I suppose if you wanted both you could cut them in half and mount opposites together with a couple of beautiful new screws holes. When you wanted a new look you could replace that look with the other opposites or choose to reunite either as originals albeit they would be halved.
I hope I helped you in your quest and project. No need for thanks.

My 2 Taylors , a 2003 MIA 110 , and a 2017 MIM Big Baby that I bought brand new last August from Musicians Friend . I now have a solo Acoustic act that is starting to take off and I'm using a Seymour Duncan Woody on these through a Fishman Mini Loudbox I bought a couple of months ago .

After trying to play around with the Squier Precision and Jazz basses, I've found myself more and more playing my violin hollow body bass. There's something about that short scale neck and lightweight, plus playing through the Fender Rumble 350 combo amp that is very appealing to me. It has such a deep, smooth tone with that combo that works well.

That would take a lot Elmer's Glue for that project.

Actually picked up my Telecaster for awhile. Sometimes, I do play it to keep familiar with playing a 6-string, in case I need to use one.

It's good to work the controls, if for no other reason, than to keep the surfaces of the pots clear of dust, and not to pit.

I do try to play it a few times a month, or at least once or twice a week. especially lately.

More power to ya' on the 6 stringer. I tried to do a 6er', with no luck. I guess some things don't change since 1968.

It really took me a couple of years of even messing around with it before I could even put enough chords together for a song. It was always an afterthought in comparison to the bass, until I started writing songs with a 4-track and drum machine. I still would rather have someone play guitar, than I'd have to do it.

If I buy some black nylon strings do ya think they’d throw in a Geddy Lee for me?

I like it. Congrats!
