I'm going with 'doors' #2 & #3. I like the center-hole design. It keeps within the anatomy of the guitar. The floor model is an easy read. The headstock mount......UG...LEEEEEEE :!:
YMMV

Truth be told, in the long run I'll probably just stick with my Boss TU-12 tuner with it's handy needle. It's not like I have to worry about constantly tuning up to have that thing hanging off the head stock, as handy as that could be. If the Boss craps out for some reason, then I'll have to look at other options.

Don't leave clip-on tuners attached to your guitar (it takes seconds to put it on/off) if you have a Nitro finish as the chemicals present in the rubber pads of the clip-on can react with and damage the Nitro finish if left in contact for extended periods of time. Same goes for long term sitting on Guitar stands, always use caution with Nitro finished guitars.

Yeah, I've used one of those for years and it's usually has been pretty stable for tuning.

I picked up a Polytune Clip Tuner today. It works great. I'll use this as a backup for in a case mostly. Easy to see, and quick to use.
