OK- As per the above...I tried ordering thru MF online (as a guest) and once AGAIN it would not let me enter my required phone number.
I (once again) spoke to a rep and all he could offer was to place the order for me.
But I've got a point to make.

And even though I did'nt need the Ditto Looper pedal, I went over to the Sweetwater site and ordered it online....NO PROBLEM. It TOOK my phone number.....no screwing around having to discuss any problem with a rep.
A rep is nice...when needed.

Sweetwater has a new customer.

well it's a moot point now, but I tried the checkout as a guest (last time I was logged in with my account).

Nexus 7 Tablet
Andriod OS
Google Chrome browser

Result: No problems, I was able to enter my phone and zip and move on to the next page. :::shrug:::

OK, I'll try to be more clear....

Your O.P. mentioned nothing about checking out as 'GUEST', so I simply logged in with my account, placed something into my cart, and tried to process the checkout. Result: everything worked normally.

YESTERDAY, you stated that you tried to "go in as a GUEST" and place your order. So I was figuring maybe it had something to do with the guest checkout. So last night, I fired up my tablet again and this time I did not log into my account. This time I processed my checkout as 'GUEST'. Result: everything worked normally.

I don't know why you would suspect someone would go through the trouble of lying to you about it, but I assure you, this was my experience. I'm sorry if that doesn't support your suspicion that the MF site is the problem, but it is what it is. :::shrug:::

OK It worked for YOU.
That MUST mean therefore that it works for everyone....I guess.
It surely does'nt work for me though, and would suspect others might have my problem.

What it does mean is that it might have worked fine for the site designers when testing with Android.

Surely. And some of them accept that it's their problem and find or accept workarounds.

Or, if having competence or interest, find out exactly what the problem is (like "malformed HTML/CSS, and here's what it should have looked like", or "bug in rendering engine when faced with this particular HTML/CSS", or ..), and submit a bug report to the right people.

Bitching about it in a forum that has nothing to do with it is not going to help.

Exactly. I don't think your average person understands how hard it is to make a site or app or program work on every single platform. If you think it's easy, there is a bright future for you in software development! :)

Well, it is easy, if you only follow the published standards, and never mix scalable and fixed-size objects. Then any misrepresentation will be due to bugs in the browsers. Tools like https://validator.w3.org/ can help with that.

But that also means you can't take advantage of any cutting-edge features that aren't standard, and it means you have to shift your way of thinking to not design for presentation, but abstract - accepting that the presentation will be different, but all content will be there and be workable. Unfortunately, designers want to control the presentation, which is what causes all the incompatibility problems.
