Here in the U.S . I would say Hank Marvin also he was supposed to have Played the first Stratocaster in the U.K. when with the Shadows.

I'm a huge Beatles fan and it's only recently that I learned he played a lot of guitar on their records, much more than I would have guessed.

Paul was the bass player not the guitarist


I agree with Chet ,Mike Campell I aslo think Robbie Robertson is underated

They are still around the lead guitarist now is Bruce Kulick who was lead guitar for Kiss for over ten years in the 80's and 90's

Peter Frampton, Drake Bell, Rivers Cuomo. They don't seem to get mentioned very much and they're all really good. Also, Robin Trower and Rory Gallagher are good but they don't get mentioned much either.
