During the Memorial Day weekend, I had an opportunity to visit the Musical Instruments Museum (MIM) in Scottsdale AZ. We were there the whole day and didn't get a chance to see it all. The place is huge. I took some pictures which I will share some here. If you ever get a chance to visit MIM, don't pass it up. It is awesome!!

Since I live in the Phoenix area, I have visited the museum twice in the past few years and have also attended two concerts in their music theater. This is definitely a must see venue if visiting Phoenix. Plan on staying there 4 to 5 hours (or more) to see everything.

So, according to mud's photos, they have Keith Moon's famous "Pictures of Lily" drum kit there! Definitely have to make it out there sometime to see that one.

Very cool ... didn't know this existed until your post. I'm thinking it's about time to visit my uncle in Phoenix and from there ... on to the interesting stuff. (Not that my uncle isn't.)
