they probly only made 831 because they cant sell many

Do you know how may Les Paul Juniors have been sold? They're essentially the same thing, and used to cost the same - $50 in 1955 is roughly $400 today.

This is the one it reminded me of when I bought it. Charvel San Dimas Custom But I could not swing that cost.

It arrived on Saturday! Very pleased with , fit and finish is nice I like the flat black, it gives it a different look. It is somwhat like the Tom Delonge Signature Strat with just a humbucker and volume knob but it has a vintage style synchonized tremolo and not the hard tail. Also has the Fender Atomic humbucking pickup. Elderly's setup was right on all I had to do was tighten the strings back up and tune. I was suprised they sent Saturday delivery since it was free shipping. My son is already asking to use it with Toneworks pedal I got and hinted he would like one.
