Brad, some of the young'uns are correct; If you play a Fender, you should be able to get a t-shirt. As a fine example, take my son (please, take my son! after Henny Youngman). He is 17 and in a band; he will be the lead guitarist in his HS jazz band, yet he would not be eligible...do you have the power (yeah, lordy, the power!!!) to make a few quiet exceptions for board members?

Here is a picture of him and his bandmates:

Thanks for listening...can I dust off my knees now?

Yeah, we're good enough to buy companies products but never good enough to partake in their promotions.

OK, we'll admit it: our basic goal here is to get ya'll into a store with the intent of making a purchase. But hey, a free T-shirt is a free T-shirt, right? And I can think of many far worse things than visiting a store and trying some gear. Some immediate examples that come to mind: doing laundry or mowing your lawn. Or cleaning out the garage. The list goes on and on, really. :)

So I got the email...traveled about 20 miles to a Fender dealer only to find out that the program wasn't applicable to Canadians. Instead of "Test Driving" a Fender, I left a little embarrased and somewhat disgusted. You really have to stop rubbing our noses in it by sending us seductive emails. By the way, it's taken me this long to say my bit because this forum isn't easy to access if you work 8-6 Monday to Friday!

it seems like theres a few flaws on the lay out of this promotion, but it is a free t-shirt for just trying something, it's bound to have some kinks i guess, but i still want my shirt :(

I bought my Fender Standard Strat HSS online and test-drove it at home... does that count for a free t-shirt? :?

Sent mine in. No shirt yet, but these things can take weeks. I'm in no particular rush, and am grateful for the free shirt. I play various instraments every time I go into my local Sam Ash anyway.

How are you supposed to mail the form? It's 2 sheets of paper. One is the form and one is half address/half chic model. Can I just stick the form in an envelope and send it that way?I'm pretty sure the post office doesn't want a folded up piece of paper inseide another paper help together with staples or tape.

I folded it in half, stamped it and dropped it in the mail.
